A pleasant dinner at KLCC, 15 mins drive for me and a 15-min walk for him =D
It’s Ramadhan and we saw the crowd was waiting patiently for their food to be served at the right time, we have our food ordered in 5 and the food was served quick enough after ~15min.
Food looks good and taste good…
Almond crusted cod
Cod is just the right portion for me but it seems a bigger portion with the duck. Looking at the dessert list, we then ordered more food…
Cheese platter (Mature Cheese, Gouda & Danish Blue & Brie)
Visited twice and still like the beef slices and their special maki. Second visit was with Dr. Louise, my lovely supervisor from Cardiff:
Third visit today, no improvement in staff service…but we did enjoy the food.
I had tried to make a few reservations in Huck’s and finally made it there. Ordering is pretty easy via the photo & menu provided on Fb:
Wild mushroom soup
(1) lemon roasted chicken
(2) salmon pie
(3) seafood risotto
Huck Seng has gave a few suggestions for pasta: wild rocket chilli mushroom chicken spaghetti, creamy, meatball & lasagne. We picked creamy pasta (pse’s favourite).
We had a very pleasant 2-hour dinner in Huck’s Cafe. The ambience is nice, we were given a private room and a private servant! A welcome drink was served when we first arrived:
Huck’s Cafe at Jalan Bangsar
We tried all desert served that night…my favourite is the durian ice cream cake, sooo Liu lian…
20 minutes drive, 4 tolls to pay, we reached Teluk Gong on a Monday evening. We wanted to order more dishes but there are only two of us to share.

Googled for a while, Hong La Jiao is one of the few Sze Chuan restaurant in KL. Located behind time square, the building looks like one to attract foreigners. We dine in for lunch anyway. Food is is at par, service is good, just one thing to comment: there is this odd smell in the restaurant…overall, we enjoyed the dishes we picked: 東坡肉 braised pork, 鹹蛋炒土豆絲 salted egg with shredded potato and 水煮魚 dried chilli with boiled fish.

Thanks to Groupon and my friend Sam, I went to this Chinese restaurant and had a chance to try this delicious Sang Har Yi Min.

I am sooo glad that KLFC is reopen, it has been relocated at Taman OUG Square. But I cant find my favorite pan mee store…
It was a Wednesday afternoon that I went to this Fish Farm in Hulu Langat with Esmee. First time being there, we called before we go. The direction given is rather clear, the boss said we should turn left after Batu 9 toll in Cheras, after that follow signboard to Batu 14, when we see a mosque in front of a traffic light turn left and drive 3km and turn left into the fish farm entrance. And YES, we reached there in about 30 min from Sunway =)
p/s: there is charges for passing through the private land to veg Fish Farm Restaurant (RM2.00 per entry)
Business was a bit slow at the afternoon hour, we ordered few dishes:
